Publix Shopping Trip

I just got back from Publix and I am so excited about all the deals I found!  We have company coming to town this weekend and plan on spending some time on the lake and grilling out at the house.  I got tons of food including hamburgers, chicken, baked beans, french fries, salad, mustard, 3 bags of chips with accompanying dips, tacos, cheese and more.  My original total was $144.35, and I ended up paying only $77.64.  That included a $50 gas card, so my net total for groceries was only 27 bucks!

What I am most excited about is all of the stuff that I got for free!  With coupons, I got A.1. steak sauce, french's mustard, carefree pantyliners, benadryl cream, BandAids, and kikkoman stir-fry seasoning completely free!

Check out Southern Savers to make your shopping list!  How did y'all do on groceries this week?

Kate Spade Sale!

Hey Kate Spade Lovers!  Kate Spade is taking an additional 25% off their sale section, plus providing free shipping! This sale comes around a few times a year, and it is a great deal to take advantage of!

Some of my favorites include this orange tiger striped tunic.    The original price was $265.00, it is marked down to $186.00 and the final price is $139.50!  That is a savings of 53%!

I am also *loving* these pink sandals!  Originally $225.00, they are on sale now for $117.00!

Happy Shopping!

Xoxo,
Shannon

Welcome to Preppy Saver!

Hi!  I am so glad you found your way to my new blog!  My name is Shannon and I run a stationery company called The Preppy Ladybug.  I recently quit my day job and I need to save money more than ever.  I started couponing 3 years ago and have saved thousands of dollars on my grocery and drug store bills over the years.  I love the lifestyle I have been living, and don't want to have to give up shopping, eating out and going out with friends.  I will blog about ways to save money, so you can live a fabulous life for less!

While I am not going to post grocery lists and coupon databases on my website, I will highlight some of the great deals I get each week.  In addition, I teach coupon classes in the metro Atlanta area!  If you have a group in your neighborhood, in your church, or elsewhere that are interested in learning how to coupon, please send me a message!  The class is $10 per person and includes valuable handouts and spreadsheets that have helped me learn to plan my shopping trips and track my savings.  I love helping people get the best savings anywhere they go!
